These terms govern your use of the Auto History Wipe browser extension ("the Extension") and this website, autohistorywipe.com ("the Site"). By using the Extension or the Site, you agree to these terms.

1. The Extension

Auto History Wipe is provided free of charge. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Extension for its intended purpose. You agree not to misuse it, reverse-engineer it for malicious purposes, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

The Extension deletes browser data based on the settings you choose. Deleting data is permanent. You are responsible for the options you enable (for example, clearing saved passwords or site storage) and for the data that is removed as a result.

2. The Site

The Site provides information and documentation about the Extension. You may use it for personal, informational purposes. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Site or access it in an unauthorized way.

3. Intellectual property

The Auto History Wipe name, content, and design are the property of their respective owner and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission, except as expressly allowed.

4. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party services, including the Chrome Web Store. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites. Installing the Extension from the Chrome Web Store is also subject to Google's terms.

5. No warranty

The Extension and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will remove every possible trace of data.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Extension or the Site.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
